Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon
Oakville, Napa Valley

Located on the western alluvial fan just north of Yountville in the Oakville AVA, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper was originally part of a large piece of land owned by Yountville namesake, George C. Yount. Purchased by Charles Hopper (who gifted the land to his daughter Missouri in 1877), the site was planted to wine grapes, plums, and walnuts.

“Every vineyard tells a story. And I enjoyed the challenge of bringing to life a new adaptation of the Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard terroir. It is an amazing site.”

— Maayan Koschitzky

Beckstoffer Vineyards has owned the 46-acre Missouri Hopper site since 1996 and, since 2002, the entire property has been a designated and protected heritage site.
