Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard Block B
Cabernet Sauvignon
Oakville, Napa Valley
Located on the western alluvial fan just north of Yountville in the Oakville AVA, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper was originally part of a large piece of land owned by Yountville namesake, George C. Yount. Purchased by Charles Hopper (who gifted the land to his daughter Missouri in 1877), the site was planted to wine grapes, plums, and walnuts.

“With Maayan’s guiding hand, we’ve created something truly special from this pristine parcel within Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper. The wine radiates purity, balance, freshness, and length.”
— Marc Taub, proprietor
Block B is a 10.45-acre parcel situated in the center of the “G3” site. It was planted with clone 4 in 1999, which is well-suited to Rutherford’s alluvial soils. Known for growing tight clusters of large berries, it produces wines with a pronounced, velvety texture.
