Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is one of Napa Valley’s most revered sites — a piece of living history originally planted to vine in 1895 by Elizabeth Yount Rutherford. Developed by Georges de Latour in 1928 and launched to fame by Andre Tchelistcheff in the 1960s, “G3” is a 300-acre plot in the heart of Rutherford that continues to produce benchmark expressions of cabernet sauvignon.

Block G is a 5.34-acre parcel situated on the western edge of the “G3” site. It was planted with clone 4 in 2003. which does particularly well in Rutherford’s alluvial soils, yielding tight clusters of large berries that produce exceptionally plush, rounded cabernet.
