WINE-SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
Legal Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Taub Family Vineyards. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Taub Family Vineyards are not for resale and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card Charges
We accept online orders only by credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Card. We do not accept American Express.
Minimum Purchase
No minimum purchase is required.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the frequently changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines directly or indirectly, to all states except Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi and Utah. We can accept ONLY onsite/in-person orders for shipments to personal residences in Arkansas and Rhode Island, and to an ABC store in Alabama. If Taub Family Vineyards is unable to ship directly to your state, we can often arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note that, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discount, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Taub Family Vineyards.
Shipping Costs and Transit Times
Federal Express and UPS Ground are Taub Family Vineyards' common carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided at current market rates. Transit times can vary throughout the year with weather being a major factor. "Typical" transit times are from 5 to 7 days once released to FedEx, UPS or GSO. We typically do not ship orders over the weekend therefore a delay between charge date and ship date.
**Note: If you select Fed Ex or UPS Air as your carrier, you will pay all shipping charges, regardless of your wine club membership or purchase amount.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes in temperature: hot, humid summer or cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. While we make every reasonable effort to ship wine orders from our warehouse when weather conditions on site are acceptable, we cannot be responsible for changing conditions elsewhere. Sign of the Dove is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by weather conditions during shipment. When the common carrier picks up your wine order for delivery, responsibility for the wine then becomes your responsibility.
