Taub Family Vineyards crafts wine with elegance and balance reflecting the purity of expression from their microsites. We exclusively focus on mid-valley sites in Rutherford, Oakville, Mount Veeder, and Howell Mountain with limited release single vineyard, single AVA and classic Napa Valley wines.

OUR MISSION

We represent a selection of the best mid-valley sites in St. Helena, Rutherford, Oakville, Mount Veeder, and Howell Mountain. Through a relationship with Andy Beckstoffer, our family is honored to have access to incredible single vineyard sites including Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III and Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper, producing highly acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon since 2012, as well as the Missouri Hopper Vineyard.  We strive for elegance and extraordinary balance between ripe fruit, integrated oak and soft tannins and for each wine to embody a pure expression of its vineyard microsite or respective AVA.

Our Family

"Wine has always been the centerpiece of my family’s narrative and livelihood. I grew up with a deep appreciation for the art of winemaking, and all the wonderful elements and camaraderie intrinsic to this fascinating world.

My grandfather Marty played an instrumental role in the wine business from the early 1930s, jumping into the business just days after Prohibition was repealed, and my father David later joined my grandfather’s side to build upon his dream. I always knew I would follow in their footsteps. In 2013, I was fortunate to purchase Heritance Vintners, which we later evolved into Taub Family Vineyards. 

We continue to pay homage to the Heritance name with our Napa range. “Heritance” stems from a combination of “heritage” and “inheritance” signifying a continuation of an enduring legacy and the start of a new tradition. This commitment to our roots and future is illustrated with the valley oak featured on each label with the diamond seed planted at its base. Today, I work side-by-side with my son Jake, building upon our dream and sharing it with our extended families of wine lovers worldwide!"

Our Team

Tom Hinde
Winemaker
Tom Hinde has been lead winemaker for Taub Family Vineyards since 2012; however, his illustrious career spans three decades. Between 2004 and 2010 he was President/CEO and Director of Winemaking at Flowers Vineyard & Winery, Sonoma Coast. Tom’s experience also includes 16 years spent as VP/GM for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates. He served as GM at Hartford Family Winery and La Crema Winery, and additionally, Tom has worked on the winemaking team for esteemed Cabernet producers Lakoya, Cardinale, Stonestreet and Verite. Tom has also served as President and Director of Winemaking at Yao Family Wines since 2009.




Larry Bradley
Viticulturalist
Larry Bradley’s vast experience includes working with Clos du Val Winery, Elyse, Flowers, and Morisoli among others in CA plus wineries in Australia and France. Larry practices precision farming -- a highly skilled approach to managing each vineyard micro-site in order to produce the highest quality grapes while maintaining environmental quality. He also practices Regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) which restricts irrigation water limiting the vine water use to below that of a fully watered vine. This helps control yields along with the health & longevity of the vine.





Marc D. Taub
Proprietor
As President & CEO of wine import companies Palm Bay International and Taub Family Selections, Marc represents the third generation in a dynamic, family-owned business that is an established leader in the wine and spirits realm. Marc had the opportunity to fully immerse himself in the family business environment working in concert with his grandfather, Marty and over two decades working side-by-side with his father, David. Though imports are fundamental to the family’s core business, Marc always held a vision of one day making his own wines in California. This came to fruition in 2013, when Marc acquired Napa Valley producer Heritance, which later evolved into Taub Family Vineyards. Today, in addition to Taub Family Vineyards in Napa, Marc also produces wines under the Au Contraire label in Sonoma, and is the proprietor of Saracina Vineyards in Mendocino County.

Our Community

At Taub Family Vineyards we are committed to our local community and partner families. We are a member of the Napa Valley Vintners association and the Rutherford Dust Society, contributing our wines to raise money for local charities. As part of the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, we are proud to practice precision farming. All of our wines are vegan-friendly.
