2023 Taub Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa’s Rutherford Bench district is renowned for producing extremely high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Stretching three miles along the west side of Highway 29, between the towns of Oakville and Rutherford, the area lies on the gravelly bed of an ancient stream, with rich, volcanogenic alluvial soils. From the third and fourth generation Taub family, this brilliant 2023 release is plush and incredibly refined.
Crafted with hand-harvested cabernet grown in premium vineyards along the Rutherford Bench. Daily pump-overs and extended maceration give extraordinary depth to the flavor, mouthfeel, and structure. Aging in 70% new French oak imparts plush texture and complex secondary notes to the vibrant, dark-fruit flavors.
